Robert Conrad, 84, 1935-2020

As an actor and a stuntman, Robert Conrad made a decent living for himself. He was mainly known for his roles in Baa Baa Black Sheep as Major Gregory “Pappy” Boyington and Wild Wild West as Secret Service agent James T. West.

Sadly, while under the influence, Conrad crashed head-on with another vehicle in April 2003. The other car driver, 26-year-old Kevin Burnett, suffered severe injuries and later died from complications related to the stressful recovery. Tried on felony charges, Conrad pleaded no contest and was convicted. He would eventually die of heart failure in 2020.
