1969 Toyota EX-III – An Aerodynamic Auto

The last car looked like a droplet of water and was also called a ladybug. Meanwhile, this vehicle looks like a beetle. The EX-III was Toyota’s creation, rather than a European design firm making its product on behalf of a company to foster a concept car.
This vehicle is the third in an EX-series (preceded by EX-I and EX-II.) It was first shown to a general audience at a motor show in Tokyo in 1969. The vehicle had an extended bonnet, tapered rear, and a peaked front. It also featured giant exhaust outlets.
