Former President Harry S. Truman was succeeded by Eisenhower, and he chose the ever-popular Cadillac model. After winning the election in 1945, he managed to lease ten limousines for his secret servicemen to use. They were then modified for the President’s safety and enough room for his high silk hats.

The politician’s 1947 model is the third generation and features the classic intimidating chrome grill on the front. Truman’s administration was heavily criticized at the time. Upon further assessment, it eventually emerged that his reputation among the general population was rather favored.
