Pope Francis – Ford Focus

Pope Francis travels around Rome and the Vatican in a modest Ford Focus. It’s a stark contrast to Mercedes, and custom-built Renaut’s that his predecessors would arrive in. However, when he flies internationally, he does choose a private chartered jet. 

This Ford model aligns nicely with the Pope’s mantra of living a humble and simple life. He often tells his fellow Catholic priests worldwide to do the same. Francis met President Joe Biden in October 2021 in the Vatican, which was his second international trip after being inaugurated into the White House.
