Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern – Hyundai Ioniq EV

New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, stays true to her fight against climate change. The leader drives an all-electric vehicle which gained her a lot of respect from many. She showed off her zero-emission Hyundai Ioniq EV in November 2019 when she picked up U.S. talk show host Stephen Colbert from the airport. 

Adern’s choice of motor is a clear message to her fellow New Zealanders and the rest of the world to follow suit. During her leadership, she introduced a climate action bill to ensure her country would aid the Paris Agreement to limit global warming.
