Venice is buzzing this week—not with tourists, but with billionaires. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are getting married, and their guest list reads like a Forbes cover.
While many weddings feature champagne and roses, theirs brought something even grander: superyachts.
Wedding Week Arrives With Star Power
The couple’s multiday celebration includes roughly 200 high-profile guests. This elite group includes global icons like Kim Kardashian, Bill Gates, and Oprah Winfrey, all spotted arriving in Venice by private jet. Even so, some guests chose an entrance more fitting for the richest man on Earth—by sea.
In the lead-up to the ceremony, luxury yachts began filling the Venetian waterfront. These weren’t just background props—they signaled wealth, exclusivity, and possible ties to the wedding itself. Given the spotlight on such a prominent couple, every arrival drew attention.
Koru Hosts Pre-Wedding Party

Right before they reached Venice, photographers captured Bezos and Sánchez throwing a foam party on his personal yacht, Koru, off the coast of Croatia. The 127-meter vessel, worth $500 million, hosted the lively event and kicked off the wedding week in true luxury.
The couple, who often sail aboard Koru, set the tone early with a blend of ocean views, music, and high-end comfort. Friends, family, and staff soaked up the atmosphere as the Adriatic shimmered around them.
Were Dreams Yacht Makes an Entrance
On Tuesday, the 52-meter Were Dreams arrived in Venice, as confirmed by MarineTraffic. Once owned by Russian banker Andrey Kostin, the yacht sleeps 11 guests across six deluxe cabins. Its timely arrival sparked speculation about whether it carried wedding guests or high-profile attendees.
Though it’s unclear who currently owns the yacht, its history and luxury status make it stand out in the crowd. In fact, it became one of the first hints that this wedding wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a spectacle on a global scale.
Limerence Joins the Fleet
The 53-meter Limerence pulled into Venice a day later. Since no one knows who owns it, many guessed that one of the guests chartered it just for the wedding. With room for six and a private helipad, Limerence looked sleek and built for grand entrances. As it docked, it caught the attention of onlookers and photographers eager to spot familiar faces.
Even without confirmation of who came aboard, its presence added to the growing number of mega vessels circling the city.
Shahid Khan Brings the Kismet

Shahid Khan sailed his jaw-dropping yacht, Kismet, into Venice on Thursday. The 122-meter yacht, which is worth $360 million, has three pools, a spa, jet skis, and room for 12 people.
The Jacksonville Jaguars’ owner, Khan, typically charters out Kismet for $3 million a week. This time, though, everything pointed to him using it personally to join the high-profile celebration.
Bill Miller’s Arience Makes a Statement
Investor Bill Miller, who made headlines with his early investment in Amazon, brought his 60-meter yacht, Arience, to Venice early in the week. Designed to host 12 guests, the yacht includes standout features like a home theater, a waterfall, and a private gym. Although Arience is available for charter, Miller’s close ties to Bezos strongly suggest he showed up in person for the celebration.
This week, Venice became a floating VIP lounge. Between the yachts, celebrities, and unmatched luxury, Bezos and Sánchez just set a new standard for elite weddings.
