Idina Menzel & Lea Michele

Everyone does a double-take when they see Idina Menzel and Lea Michele side by side. Both the actresses share strikingly similar features and can play sisters. Amazingly, they have worked together as relatives but are not related.

Menzel played Michele’s mom in the series “Glee,” to which the former afterward suggested a modification that they could have played sister as they have an age gap of 15 years. But Hollywood has a history of casting women in characters way too older than their age. Amy Poehler was eight years older than Rachel McAdams when she played her mom in “Mean Girls” in 2004.
