Dee Snider – Twisted Sister

Dee Snider shot to fame as the frontman and primary songwriter for the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He became renowned for his genre-inspired long blonde hair and feminine makeup that includes bright red lip color, a lot of rouge, and a beauty mark.

But he is equally as renowned for his product-free look. This is thanks to his solo work and also for his appearance at the 1985 senate hearing set up by the Parent Music Resource Center, which singled out Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as one of its “Filthy Fifteen.” In July 2021, Snider released a solo album titled “Leave A Scar.”
