Walter Koenig – Pavel Chekov

One of the last surviving cast members, Walter Koenig, shot to fame for his role in “Star Trek: The Original Series.” He played Ensign Pavel Chekov, a mainstay character that saw Koenig also appear in all six films starring the original characters. He is also noted for writing the documentary “What Happened to the Class of ’65?”

He also had a writing role in “Star Trek: The Animated Series.” Outside the franchise, he has appeared in other popular films, including “Goodbye, Raggedy Ann,” “The Questor Tapes” and “Babylon 5.” In 2021 he appeared in “The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek.”
