Armin Shimerman – Quark

Although utterly unrecognizable in his makeup and prosthetics, that is indeed Armin Shimerman in costume as Quark. The character was a mainstay in “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” bringing some comic relief as a funny bartender for the series’s entire run from 1993 to 1999. He also has worked outside the franchise.

These include shows like “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” playing principal Snyder and “Boston Legal,” where he played Judge Brian Hooper. He also did voice work for video games, like “Ratchet & Clank” as “Dr. Nefarious.” In 2021 he appeared in the show “The Rookie” and also did video game voice work in “Mass Effect: Legendary Edition” and “Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.”
