Catherine Hicks – Dr. Gillian Taylor

Like Stephen Collins mentioned before, Catherine Hicks found initial fame as a cast member on a “Star Trek” production before making her name in “7th Heaven.” She played Dr. Gillian Taylor in 1986’s “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home,” gaining some fame in the Trekkie universe.

She had other work before 7th Heaven too. This includes a part in 1988’s “Childs Play” and before then in “Marilyn: The Untold Story” playing Monroe herself. Her career slowed down after “7th Heaven” ended, and she has had chiefly roles in TV movies. In 2021 she appeared in “The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek.”
