Robin Curtis – Lt. Saavik

So we told you about the part where Kirsty Alley wouldn’t return to her role as  Lt. Saavik because the filmmakers wanted to pay her less. But we never told you who took the role when she didn’t return. You see, instead of removing the character, they recast her, and that role went to Robin Curtis.

She took the role in “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock” and “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.” She also appeared in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and outside the “Trekkie universe” had roles in films like “Santa with Muscles” and “The S^x Monster.” In 2021 she appeared in a podcast called “Funny Science Fiction Podcast.”
