Laurence Luckinbill – Sybok

Doctor Spock is one of the most iconic characters from the “Star Trek” universe. But he isn’t the only human-Vulcan in the franchise. He has a brother. That’s right, the most emotionless character on the show has a family. You’d have to watch to see whether he cared or not.

But we digress; this brother was named Blybok and was expertly played by Laurence Luckinbill, appearing in the “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.” Luckinbill was pretty lucky to land the role since it was initially reserved for Sean Connery. But he was working on Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade at the time and gave it a miss.
