Brent Spiner – Lt. Commander Data

Another actor who spent a long time on several incarnations of the “Star Trek” franchise is Brent Spiner. He spent 15 years playing Lt. Commander Data in seven seasons of “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” as well as four film spinoff’s including “Star Trek Generations” and “Star Trek: Nemesis.”

He also gained fame for his role in the 1996 epic classic “Independence Day,” where he played Dr. Brackish Okun. This role earned him a Saturn Award nomination, and he also returned for the film’s 2016 sequel “Independence Day: Resurgence.” He also returned as Data in 2020 for “Star Trek: Picard,” and in 2021, he voiced the Joker in “Young Justice: Phantoms.”
