Wil Wheaton – Wesley Crusher

Anyone who is a fan of the sitcom “Big Bang Theory” would have developed a newfound interest in the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” character Wesley Crusher. That is because Will Wheaton, the actor who plays the character, portrayed a version of himself on that show.

In “Big Bang,” he was a nemesis turned friend of the character, Sheldon Cooper. In Star Trek, his character was very much the same as Sheldon: a boy genius with an eidetic memory. Wheaton got his big film break in the ’80s classic film “Stand By Me,” and from 2020 to 2021 hosted a show called “Rival Speak.”
