Enjoying the peaceful grasslands of Botswana in Southern Africa? No better host can welcome you aside from the king of the jungle himself. Nearly all animals fear lions for their raw power and strength, and lions do not fear other animals.

Hopefully, the lion in this photo just greeted the guy. Or if he is upset that there’s someone in his territory, we hope he just let the guy pass through. Especially considering the possible weapon of defense is placed out of reach. It might be possible that lions are human’s best friends too. They respond well to humans who care for them and respect their boundaries.
