Emma Barnett – Radio Presenter, £240K
In 2021 Emma Barnett took over the BBC Radio 4 segment, “Woman’s Hour.” It seems like a perfect fit, considering her interest in societal issues and world views involving women. Moreover, Barnett’s passion for women-focused journalism is well documented. After all, in 2012, she launched the “Wonder Women” segment in The Telegraph.
It was entirely on-brand for Barnett to be one of the few women to get a solo daily slot on BBC Radio 5. But she’s also known for shows like “Sunday Morning Live” and “After the News” on ITV. Since 2019, she’s been a presenter of the BBC’s current affairs show, “Newsnight,” and the network pays her £240K annually.
