Fishermen, Not Fish-men

This attempt to generate fishermen led to something that’s more fish than man. It’s a little disappointing but really funny that AI couldn’t get something as simple as a typical rugged angler. Instead, what emerged were bizarre hybrids of human features with aquatic traits. It’s unsettling seeing fish-like heads with human bodies—except in anime of course.

The request must have confused the AI. Whether these beings are supposed to catch fish or simply exist in some underwater nightmare is anyone’s guess. It’s an amusing misstep that shows how literal AI can be in interpreting commands, even when it’s clearly off the mark.
