Maine – Inbound Moves 50.2%

With 50.2% of people moving into Maine, there’s only a slight margin between people who are entering and exiting. To try to improve these figures and encourage even more people into the area, the government has a new ten-year plan.

It focuses on diversifying the type of job opportunities available. The economic project hopes that Maine will become an environmentally sustainable community with an animated economy that enables it to be a world leader by 2030. With almost 25% of people deciding to leave this state because of a lack of career prospects, it’s an important issue Maine needs to address. We hope their plan works, and Maine thrives!
