Illinois – Outbound Moves: 66.5%

Why would someone want to leave that expansive Prairie, Chicago, and the largest bottle of catsup? It is the share of your money that goes to the government – taxes!

An alarming study conducted by the ‘University of Illinois Springfield’ and ‘NPR Illinois’ have suggested that nearly 3 in 5 people living in the state are considering moving out. It is a good thing that the lion’s share of the property taxes goes into funding community colleges and local schools. But that doesn’t seem to be reason enough for the Illinoisans to stay back!
