New Jersey – Outbound Moves: 68.5%

Despite being called a garden state, the grass doesn’t seem to get any greener here! New Jersey has been the number one state in terms of migration of people, and ‘United Van Lines’ claimed that they have been doing a lot of packing for New Jerseyites.

While the primary reason for this is the high taxes, there’s more than what meets the eye! People who are out of jobs or are retired see no reason to continue staying in the state. The schools are expensive, tolls are high, and most of the time, even auto insurance goes through the roof!
