The number three he had on his back must have been in support of his favorite racer. Otherwise, why would he take such a step? Instead of wearing a jersey labeled number three, he chose a pretty unconventional way to show his support.

Hopefully, their effort didn’t go to waste, and whoever they supported won the race. Even though we like his inventiveness, a labeled jersey would have done the same.
