Mascots are well-known for their willingness to go to absurd lengths to pique spectators’ interest and encourage the team to keep up the excellent work. Despite this, the character in this photo seems to be having a good time, while the player appears to be suffocating in the green outfit.

From a glance, one can say the mascot has tackled the player, but it does not look like a pleasant situation. Featured in the photo is Phillie Phanatic, the Philadelphia Phillies’ official mascot that Bonnie Harrison and Wayde Erickson created. It was created to attract more families to the stadium.
