David Letterman was the proud host of The Late Show on CBS between the years 1993 and 2015. He is also the founder of Worldwide Pants, a television and film production company. Letterman has hosted a total of 6,080 TV show episodes during his tenure of 33 years and has been banking an annual salary of $35 million before his retirement in 2015.
Three years into his retirement, he signed a contract with Netflix to host an original talk show called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. In addition to his net worth of $400 million, he is paid $2 million per episode by Netflix and still pulls in $12 million per annum.
