Danica Patrick – Race Driving

Danica Patrick is an American professional race car driver. She is deemed the most successful woman in racecar driving. She started racing in her hometown of Beloit, Wisconsin, at age ten, by racing go-karts. With the support of her parents, Patrick dropped out of high school to race professionally in the United Kingdom.

In 2008, she set out as the first and only woman to win an IndyCar Series race, making history. Besides being a successful American racing driver, she has also co-written a memoir, “Crossing the Line” (2006) and “Pretty Intense: The 90-Day Mind, Body, and Food Plan that Will Absolutely Change Your Life.”
