Hope Solo – Soccer

Hope Solo is a former American soccer goalkeeper. She was part of the United States women’s national team from 2010 to 2016. She is a two-time gold medalist and a World Cup champion. Solo is regarded as one of the top goalkeepers of all time, and in 2008 and 2012, she helped the United States win golden medallions at the Summer Olympics.

Now retired, Solo can proudly say she’s one of the most capped international players in the history of soccer, men included. She played for the U.S. national team on over 200 occasions. Solo has also signed lucrative endorsement deals with huge brands such as Seiko, Nike, Gatorade, and Blackberry.
