Stephanie Rice – Swimming

Stephanie Rice is an Australian retired competitive swimmer. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she won three gold medals each in world record time. She competed at the London 2012 Olympics and finished fourth place in the 200-meter individual medley. This was after three shoulder surgeries between the two Olympics slowed her down.
Graced with a Medal of the Order of Australia, one of the country’s most significant honors, Rice made some news on dry land after winning season 3 of “The Celebrity Apprentice Australia.” Additionally, she’s been a vegan since 2012. Rice decided to retire from swimming in 2014.
