Allison Stokke – Pole Vaulting

Allison Stokke is an American track and field athlete and fitness model. When she was a high schooler, she broke a couple of pole vaulting records. She continued pole vaulting as part of the California Golden Bears collegiate track team. Images of her pole vaulting went viral, and she became an Internet phenomenon.

This amazing record-breaker became so famous on the Internet that various news sources made comments about the photos. Stokke had to hire a media consultant to handle all the attention she was receiving. She later entered sportswear modeling and worked for brands like Athleta, Nike, and Uniqlo.
