Silje Norendal – Snowboarding

Silje Norendal is a former Norwegian snowboarder. She contended in the slopestyle and big air events; her local club was Kongsberg IF. In 2020, the 2019 world slopestyle silver medalist announced on her Instagram that she would be retiring. Later it was reported by a separate news source that she was also expecting a child.

Norendal landed four gold medals in two different X-Games competitions and hit silver and bronze in two categories of the World Championships. During the 2018 Winter Olympics in Korea, she was just a few points away from winning her first Olympic medal, finishing in the fourth position.
