Scott Steiner, who was under the WWE, wrestled also for World Championship Wrestling. He was the eighth wrestler to receive the Triple Crown Champion under the WCW, and a world champion three times. Steiner’s opponent, Nuevo Gran Apolo, gave him a kick to the throat during a house show in 2007. It tore his trachea and after determining he’d be dead in five hours, doctors put him in a coma and repaired it. He was lucky. He and his spouse opened a Shoney’s franchise restaurant in 2016. It’s in the Acworth area of Georgia where he and his family live. Steiner’s worth is over $2M in 2019.
