The Palouse – Washington

If the pictures of the Palouse in Washington can have such a calming effect on us, imagine how relaxing the place would be for visitors who experience it for real. No doubt, it’s those gently rolling hills in their lush green and lazy brown hues that are the reason for the agricultural region’s breathtaking beauty!

With wheat and barley fields, the numerous valleys are glowing green during spring when the crops are young and turn different shades of brown during summer when they are ready for harvest. Given how unique the pastures are, it isn’t surprising the Palouse is a favorite among the seven wonders of Washington State.
