Monument Valley – Arizona and Utah

If you want to see what Mars looks like, you don’t need to go to outer space. Instead, just book a trip down to the border of Arizona and Utah, and there you’ll find one of the most astonishing natural creations there is. While Monument Valley is smack in the middle of the desert, that’s not the interesting bit; what’s fascinating is the rock formations.

The buttes can be pretty high, with the most popular ones, the East and West Mitten Buttes, rising to a mind-blowing 6000 feet. We don’t know about you, but this is a place we’d love to visit next! Imagine seeing the sunset between the formations!
