Byodo-In Temple, Oahu, Hawaii

Although the Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii is modeled after the 900-year-old Buddhist temple at Uji-Kyoto in Japan, it is considered a non-denominational temple. The valley of the Temples Memorial Park is home to several religious relics, but none stands out, as the Byodo-In Temple and the 9-foot Buddha in the temple.
Japanese architecture and the fineness with which it has been executed are alluring. Apart from worship, the historical site is quite often used as a venue for weddings because of the breathtaking landscape. Naturally, it stands on with snowy mountains in the background and ponds at the front of the temple.
