Grand Canyon National Park – Arizona

The legendary Grand Canyon is among the most popular natural formation, so much so that we think many people have come across its pictures somewhere. Found in Arizona, the canyon was the masterpiece of the Colorado River and is now a jaw-dropping sight.

Stretching for 446km and with a depth of 1.6km, the gorge is an absolute piece of beauty, bursting with an array of pigmented colors in shades of orange, green, and pink. The area also is home to numerous animal species, like elk, bighorn sheep, and mountain lions, so there’s no shortage of wildlife and scenic views if one chooses to visit.
