Hoh Rain Forest – Olympic National Park, Washington

One trip to the Olympic National Park in Washington is all it takes to experience three natural wonders simultaneously – the mountains, the beaches, and the rainforest. Surprisingly, the Hoh Rain Forest is among the last few of the temperate zones in the States, and saying it’s gorgeous is an understatement.
It gets its name from the Hoh river winding through the forest with roaring intensity amidst a canopy of lush green foliage. We can catch the rays of sunlight playing peek-a-boo during the daytime through nearly 130 species of ferns, lichens, and mosses. Hikers will certainly have a great time traversing the Hoh River Trail.
