The Smallest Monkey In The World

Straight from the Amazon basin of South America, meet the cute and adorable pygmy marmoset, which is believed to be the smallest monkey in the world. Growing to just 6.2 inches, the primate can quite literally wrap itself on a human finger without trouble.
Another interesting fact about pygmy marmosets, according to CGTN, is that they’re one of the few species ,with females weighing more than males. And aside from a diet of tree sap and gum, they’re pretty much like other monkeys with their impressive ability to climb and maneuver through branches.
