Coffee Consumption: New York City Vs. The United States

The Big Apple is called the city that never sleeps for a good reason. Its residents are quite literally too caffeinated to get some shuteye. According to WalletHub, New York City has a higher number of coffee shops per capita compared to other major American cities. It even beat Seattle, the birthplace of Starbucks itself, for the top spot.
An impressive feat considering that New York only ranked 23rd in the United States when it comes to the number of coffee drinkers. The java-drinking experience in the Big Apple is also noteworthy because of the abundance of pastry options and places with Wi-Fi.
