Canadian Lakes Vs. The Rest Of The Earth

Canada may be more known for its maple syrup, but it can also take pride in its many lakes. In fact, many sources dub it as the country with the most number of lakes in the world, having 62% of the 1.42 million known ones.
That said, the rest of the Earth’s freshwater formations may appear like a small puddle compared to Canada’s lake supply. According to World Atlas, the North American nation’s largest one is Lake Superior, which it shares with the United States. It’s speculated that it has enough water to cover the landmass of the Americas.
