Fast Cars: Modern Vs. Vintage

When the Chevy Camaro (pictured in the bottom panel) first came out in the ‘60s, it was Chevrolet’s offering in the pony category. This meant that the vehicle was sort of like a cross between a coupe and a sports car. The first-generation Camaros reportedly boasted a top-end speed of 117 miles per hour.
That might not be as impressive today, though. For example, the 2012 Toyota Camry, which is by no means the fastest car now, can potentially overtake the Camaro as it can go as fast as 118 miles per hour. Impressive, huh? Especially considering that they’re about the same size.
