How Fire Behaves With Gravity Vs. Without Gravity

Ever wondered what would happen if you light a fire space? Well, here’s your answer. On Earth, where there’s gravity, lighting a candle means the formation of a teardrop-shaped flame with the blue-hued ones closest to the wick. That’s because of the separation between the heavier air and the lighter one.
But in space, where there’s little gravity, the flame tends to spread in all directions without a force weighing it down. Thus, a fire burns into a sort of globe that’s slow-burning and blue like the one pictured on the right.
