Land Mass And Population Of Russia And Bangladesh

Looking at their population alone, Russia and Bangladesh are near in size. It’s a different story when landmass is taken into consideration, though. Russia, the largest country globally, is about 6.6 million square miles and houses about 146 million people.
Meanwhile, the much smaller South Asian country of Bangladesh is only 56,980 square miles and is home to 168 million people. That said, it is also considered to be among the most densely populated nations in the world. So, while Russians have plenty of wiggle room, Bangladeshis often live in quite cramped conditions.
