An Eye for an Eye

We just hope when the party is done and over with, the young man in the front can still see. It looks like his friend has popped open some sort of alcoholic drink with carbon dioxide and it has gone straight into his friend’s eyes.

Research has shown that anywhere from 0.7% to 2.4% of injuries can be caused by bottle caps. Besides injury from the cap, alcohol in the eye can sting very badly and can predispose the eye to infections. A pair of eyeglasses before opening your drink can seem a bit extra, but if there are chances are losing your vision, then better safe than sorry.
