Nepal

Women in Nepal have long fought against patriarchy and have tried to secure themselves a place in their country’s social and political realms. As a result, in 2013, women’s representation in the constituent Assembly was 29%. In 2015, Nepal elected its first female President, Bidhya Devi Bhandari.
Nepali women don’t adorn themselves heavily with products and yet look stunning. It is no wonder that they have made it to beauty competitions around the world. Shrinkhala Khatiwada represented Nepal at the Miss. World pageant in 2018. She made it to the Top 12 and won the Beauty with a Purpose Award.
