Vietnam is located in Southeast Asia. Despite being a small country, it is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Vietnam’s culture has a lot of influence from its neighboring country China. This is because over the centuries Chinese people have often inter-married amongst the indigenous Vietnamese population.

Vietnamese women have traditional values and believe in playing a crucial part in running the household. But they have also become a large part of the workforce, with Vietnam now boasting one of the highest percentages of the female labor force. Other than that Vietnamese women have also made their mark in beauty competitions around the world, with Nguyễn Phương Khánh winning the 2018 Miss Earth title.
