Iconic Chupa Chups Stick

Growing up, we all enjoyed Chupa Chups to no end. It is among the most favorite lollipop brands of most people, and rightly so because of its rich flavor. Moreover, the most memorable thing about the confection was the hole at the bottom of its stick that we loved to use as a whistle. It was unique to this particular brand but had you ever wondered why?

While blowing the whistle was fun, the hole happens to have another use that intricately makes more sense. It helps the lollipop in staying put on the stick when the candy is being poured on it.
