The McFlurry Square Spoon

At one point, so many around the globe have misused the McFlurry spoon. Some people think it was a straw and have sucked their dessert spoon out of curiosity, to no avail. For others, it is only a unique work of art.

Apparently, the spoon has a square shape top to fit perfectly in the machine that stirs the ice cream and toppings in the cup. Afterward, it is served together with the dessert basically for food sanitation and convenience on the part of the crew. This device was created in 1995 by a McDonald’s employee to cater for cleanliness and fast customer service.
