Not So Random Jean Buttons

Many people know that the jean pants were created for the miners but grew in popularity as time went by. Interestingly, the workers noticed something which prompted Levi Strauss to change the garment design to a fantastic effect.
The miners noticed that the jeans were getting tattered soon after purchase, and Strauss sought to fix the problem. He eventually used rivets, those round things we can see around the pockets. Safe to say it worked, and if you didn’t know what the extra buttons did, they keep your denim’s pockets from ripping open. Brilliant!
