The Rearview Mirror Tab Feature

It is highly desirable that every time a person drives, they look into the rearview mirror for a safe driving experience. Still, many may not have noticed the small tab at the bottom of the mirror. If in case one has seen it, we bet its reason for being there, and its utility may have evaded sense.

The tab is meant to allow a person to change the mirror’s position without the danger of being blinded by intense headlights from behind. This safety feature bounces off the light without preventing the driver from seeing what is happening at the rear.
