Diego Sinagra, Son of Diego Maradona and Cristiana Sinagra

Did you know that there have been three Diego Maradona’s in this world? Everyone knows the World Cup-winning soccer legend who goes by that name. But his father also had that name, and in 2004, he admitted that he had fathered a son out of wedlock named Diego.

Legally this son took his mother’s last name and went by Diego Sinagra, but has since taken his father’s second name and surname, becoming Diego Armando Maradona Sinagra. He played football, featuring in the Napoli youth team. He later played in the Italian lower divisions before retiring to play beach football, where he was a runner-up at the World Cup.
