In 1948, iconic singer Dean Martin and his first wife, Elizabeth Anne McDonald, welcomed their child Deana, who went on to live with ‘The King of Cool’ when things didn’t work out between her parents. It was this time when musical legends like Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra inspired the young girl to pursue a career in entertainment.

Deana, who released a 2004 memoir about her life with her father and his influence on her, tries to keep Dean’s legacy alive by performing some of his hits. In a 2019 interview with Fox, she admitted that the “Volare” crooner gave her a normal upbringing despite their celebrity status.
